Dr. Ashraf Raad Salem, Head of the Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security Division, and Dr. Mohammed Mowaffaq Sahri, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, both faculty members at the University of Telafer, participated in the Third International Scientific Conference on Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, organized by Al-Noor University under the theme “Towards New Horizons in Scientific Research and Clinical Applications.”
Their participation involved presenting a scientific paper titled:
“The Effect of Helicobacter pylori Infection on Thyroid Disorders and Serum Interleukin-6 Levels”
The research focused on evaluating the effectiveness of diagnostic methods for Helicobacter pylori infection and assessing the impact of gender, age, and thyroid disorders on disease distribution and clinical presentation. It also explored the relationship of these variables with interleukin-6 levels and blood groups.
