“Awareness Seminar at the University of Telafer on Combating Corruption and the Role of Psychological and Educational Counseling”
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of integrity and uphold genuine educational values, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the University of Telafer organized an awareness seminar titled “Combating Corruption and the Role of Psychological and Educational Counseling,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Nadhir Mustafa Ahmed on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The seminar addressed the psychological and social dimensions associated with corruption and explored ways to combat it by fostering self-awareness and ethical behavior within the university environment. It emphasized that psychological and educational counseling serves as an effective tool in building a sound academic atmosphere rooted in values and principles, contributing to the prevention of behavioral deviations.
The session also highlighted the importance of integrating educational and administrative roles in combating manifestations of corruption, and in shaping a university culture that embraces transparency, justice, and a sense of individual and collective responsibility.
