” President of the University of Telafer Receives the Ministerial Committee for the Establishment of a Master’s Program in Mathematics Education”

The President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Aqil Yahya Hashim Al-Aaraji, received in his office on Sunday, July 19, 2026, the Ministerial Committee assigned to evaluate the proposal for establishing aMaster’s Program in Mathematics Education within the Department of Mathematics at the College of Basic Education.

Professor Al-Aaraji welcomed the committee members, emphasizing the University’s commitment to fulfilling all academic and scientific requirements necessary for the establishment of postgraduate programs. He noted that such programs contribute to enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, expanding postgraduate studies to meet the needs of society and the labor market, and strengthening the academic standing of the University of Telafer.

During the visit, the Ministerial Committee reviewed the academic and physical resources available in the Department of Mathematics, including the teaching staff, classrooms, laboratories, library, and other facilities required for the proposed Master’s program. The committee also provided its academic and technical observations in accordance with the regulations and standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

At the conclusion of the visit, the President of the University honored the members of the Ministerial Committee in recognition of their valuable efforts in evaluating the requirements for establishing the Master’s program, wishing them continued success and prosperity.
