President of the University of Telafer Chairs the Tenth University Council Meeting for” “the 2025–2026 Academic Year
The University of Telafer Council held its tenth meeting for the 2025–2026 academic year on Monday, July 13, 2026, under the chairmanship of Professor Aqeel Al-Aaraji, President of the University, with the attendance of all Council members.
The meeting reviewed the progress of several university development projects, monthly reports from the Citizens Affairs Unit, the implementation of the Student Information System (SIS), and ongoing electronic automation initiatives aimed at supporting digital transformation and improving administrative performance. The Council also hosted several administrative department directors to discuss key challenges and adopt recommendations to enhance institutional efficiency.
Professor Al-Aaraji emphasized the importance of teamwork, timely implementation of strategic plans, accelerating digital transformation, and improving electronic services and infrastructure to achieve the University’s strategic objectives and strengthen academic and administrative performance.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the University’s commitment to continuous institutional development, effective governance, and sustainable progress, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
