“Selection of a Tal Afar University Faculty Member as a Scientific Reviewer in Prestigious Academic Journals”

Tal Afar University continues to strengthen its distinguished academic presence and scientific standing through the active contributions of its faculty members in the fields of scientific research and academic reviewing, reflecting the advanced academic level of its teaching staff and the confidence of academic institutions in their research expertise.

In this context, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Qasim Baktash, faculty member at the College of Nursing and Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, was selected as a scientific reviewer for two research papers in specialized academic journals, in recognition of his scientific competence and expertise in health and nursing fields.

He participated in reviewing a scientific paper for the Kufa Journal for Nursing Sciences, affiliated with the College of Nursing at the University of Kufa, where he was awarded a Reviewer Certificate in appreciation of his scientific efforts in evaluating and reviewing research according to rigorous academic standards.

He also received a letter of appreciation from the Journal of Veterinary and Biosciences, affiliated with the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Shatrah University, following his contribution to reviewing the research entitled:

“Relationship Between Physical Activity Level, Lactate Accumulation, and Heart Rate Variability in Young Adults”

This recognition reflects the prominent scientific role played by Tal Afar University faculty members in supporting the quality of scientific publishing and enhancing academic integrity, as well as their active contribution to advancing scientific research at both local and national levels.
