“Launch of the Second Asphalt Layer Paving Works within the Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Development Project at Tal Afar University”

Under the patronage of the President of Tal Afar University, Professor Dr. Aqeel Al-Araji, and under the direct supervision of the Department of Construction and Projects, with support and funding from the Fund for the Reconstruction of Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, the paving works of the second asphalt layer within the project for rehabilitating and paving the internal roads of Tal Afar University were launched on Sunday, May 24, 2026. This step reflects the accelerated urban development witnessed by the university at various levels.

This vital project comes within the strategic vision adopted by the university presidency to enhance infrastructure and develop the university environment in accordance with modern academic institution standards, in addition to providing an integrated educational and service environment that supports the academic process and creates the best possible conditions for students, faculty members, and university staff.
