“University of Telafer Participates in the International Forum for Continuing Education Centers: Strategic Partnerships to Enhance Development and Academic Integration”
The Northern Technical University hosted the opening of the International Forum for Continuing Education Centers in Iraqi universities, held under the slogan:
“Continuing Education… Renewed Horizons for Leading and Sustainable Iraqi Universities,” with broad participation from public and private universities, as well as a number of specialized academic figures.
The University of Telafer was represented at the forum by Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Zidan Younis, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and Assistant Lecturer Mohammad Idris Kanaan, Head of the E-Learning Division at the center, responding to the kind invitation extended by the Northern Technical University to participate in this important academic event.
The forum focused on enhancing cooperation among continuing education centers in Iraqi universities and improving the quality of training programs in alignment with sustainable economic and social development goals. It also explored mechanisms for building strategic partnerships with governmental and private sectors to advance skills development and empower human resources.
The forum included scientific and interactive discussion sessions that addressed global best practices in managing continuing education centers, strategies to enhance the efficiency of academic staff, and methods to develop community outreach plans and establish local and international partnerships, supporting the principles of lifelong learning.
At the conclusion of the forum, plaques of appreciation were presented to participants in recognition of their contributions and efforts in making this distinguished academic event a success.
