“President of University of Telafer Receives Delegation from Nineveh Governorate Office to Launch Campus Internal Roads Rehabilitation Project”

Within the framework of efforts to develop the infrastructure of the University of Telafer and improve its facilities, the University President, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, received on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, a delegation from the Engineering and Technical Affairs Department of the Nineveh Governorate Office to discuss the launch of the internal roads rehabilitation project for the University of Telafer, in the presence of the Director of Construction and Projects Department at the university, Engineer Ahmed Abdul Ghafoor Mohammed Ali.

The project aims to rehabilitate the internal road network within the university campus and develop the transportation and mobility system, contributing to providing a better educational environment and facilitating the movement of students, academic and administrative staff within the university.

The delegation discussed with the university presidency the technical details of the project and the timelines for its implementation, in addition to reviewing engineering plans and technical specifications required to ensure work quality and compliance with approved standards. The importance of continuous coordination between implementing agencies and the university presidency was also emphasized to ensure work progress without affecting academic and administrative activities.

The University President emphasized the importance of this project in improving services provided to the university community and developing the university’s infrastructure. He indicated that rehabilitating internal roads will contribute to enhancing the quality of the educational environment and providing better conditions for students and faculty members, positively reflecting on the educational and research process at the university.
