“President of University of Telafer Receives Ministerial Delegation to Discuss Construction and Development Projects”

The President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, received on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, a ministerial delegation to conduct a comprehensive survey of lands belonging to the university, in the presence of the Director of Construction and Projects Department, Engineer Ahmed Abdul Ghafoor Mohammed Ali, as part of the ministry’s strategic plan to develop infrastructure for Iraqi universities and protect their properties.

The visit aimed to identify the locations and areas of all lands owned or allocated to the university and their intended use, in addition to evaluating the importance of areas that need development or improvement in fencing work and the necessary costs for that.

The delegation conducted a comprehensive field tour to inspect university lands and evaluate the current status of fencing, praising the distinguished efforts made by the university presidency in completing fencing work and protecting university properties, commending the university’s proactive vision in securing its boundaries and protecting its facilities. The delegation also discussed future development plans with the university presidency and the possibility of improving some areas according to the latest standards and specifications.

The university president confirmed that the university had sought since its establishment to preserve lands belonging to the university and fence them as part of its strategic plan to protect properties and educational facilities, indicating the university’s readiness for full cooperation with the ministry in developing and improving infrastructure according to approved standards, contributing to enhancing the university environment and improving the level of services provided.
