In a significant step towards adopting contemporary concepts in university education, the College of Education at the University of Telafer organized a specialized workshop titled “Ecosystem – What It Is and How to Apply It,” with direct participation from the University President, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Alongside the University President, Assistant Lecturer Mushtaq Abdullah Mohammed Tahir, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Lecturer Songul Jaafar Mahmoud, Head of the Studies and Planning Division, participated in presenting the workshop axes.
The workshop analytically explored the concept of the integrated ecosystem and its application mechanisms in academic institutions, reviewing successful global models in this field, and ways to employ them to enhance interactive connection between various components of the educational system, ensuring role integration and achieving maximum benefit from available resources.
In his opening lecture, the University President presented a strategic vision for adopting this concept at the university, affirming that the integrated educational ecosystem represents a qualitative shift in managing academic institutions and contributes to improving educational outcomes and enhancing the university’s competitive capacity.
The workshop drew a distinguished audience of faculty members, researchers, and students, who enriched the discussions with solid scientific interventions, reflecting the growing interest in adopting innovative methods and modern methodologies in developing the educational process in line with global standards for academic quality.
