“Women’s Affairs Division at University of Telafer Holds Symposium on the Importance of Family in Building Community Awareness”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, and within the framework of its responsibility in enhancing community awareness, the Women’s Affairs Division at the university organized a scientific symposium titled “Your Family is a Mirror of Your Awareness, Let’s Improve the Reflection” on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the College of Nursing.

The symposium was presented by Assistant Lecturer Alaa Mohammed Ali Younis, Head of the Women’s Affairs Division, who addressed the close relationship between family and community awareness, emphasizing that the family is the mirror that reflects the level of cultural and social awareness of its members.

The symposium focused on the importance of building the family on solid foundations of values and ethics, promoting concepts of dialogue and understanding among family members, in addition to the role of educational institutions in developing family awareness among students.

The symposium witnessed qualitative interaction from the College of Nursing students, manifested in deep interventions and conscious questions that enriched the symposium’s axes and reflected an advanced understanding of the importance of cohesive family fabric in building a balanced society, confirming the success of the initiative in achieving its awareness objectives and establishing sound family concepts in the consciousness of university youth.
