“President of University of Telafer Participates in Higher Education Platform Conference and Electronic Incubator Inauguration at Al-Noor University”
Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and within the framework of the University of Telafer’s commitment to active participation in ministerial initiatives aimed at developing the Iraqi higher education system and keeping pace with contemporary technical developments, the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, along with the accompanying delegation that included college deans, their associates, and department directors, participated in the Higher Education Platform Conference hosted by Al-Noor University on Saturday morning, July 19, 2025, with qualitative attendance including Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, and Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Dhad, Deputy Minister for Scientific Affairs, alongside elite Iraqi university presidents and participating university council members.
The conference sessions featured a detailed presentation of the advanced digital platform for higher education that aims to modernize the Iraqi academic system and integrate modern technologies into educational and administrative processes. The activities included opening speeches by officials and a specialized technical presentation delivered by the Director of the Information Technology Department at the Ministry, allowing participants to understand the extensive capabilities of this pioneering technological platform and mechanisms for its application in enhancing academic and administrative services.
On the sidelines of the conference, the University President participated in the inauguration ceremony of Al-Noor University’s Electronic Incubator, which was inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Affairs, where he examined the advanced technical facilities, specialized equipment, and their operational readiness.
