“Launch of the Third Course on Teaching Methods Towards Blended Learning at University of Telafer”

In line with the University of Telafer’s vision seeking academic excellence and developing teaching competencies, within the context of implementing the updated teaching skills development program approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and embodying the directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, aimed at elevating the level of educational performance, the Continuing Education Center, under the supervision of its director, Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Zidan Younis, witnessed the launch of the third course on teaching methods towards blended learning on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

The course activities opened with a welcoming speech from the University President, through which he expressed his appreciation for the participants in this distinguished development program, emphasizing the importance of these training initiatives in enhancing the quality of university education and keeping pace with modern developments in teaching methods and blended learning.

This specialized course targets faculty and academic staff covered by the provisions of the University Service Law who hold higher degrees and advanced academic ranks, where a group of trainers certified and licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education undertake the delivery of its training modules, according to officially approved academic standards and regulations, ensuring the achievement of the highest levels of quality in training content and guaranteeing its suitability for contemporary educational requirements.

The journey of this developmental course extends over a period of three months, distributed across eight sequential and interconnected training units, carefully designed to develop advanced teaching capabilities and enhance the effectiveness of educational practices in academic institutions, in accordance with the latest educational theories and innovative teaching trends, leading to the preparation and qualification of distinguished teaching staff capable of keeping pace with technical and methodological developments in the field of contemporary higher education.
