“University of Telafer Explores Academic Partnership Prospects with Iranian Educational Institutions”

Within the framework of expanding international academic cooperation horizons and enhancing scientific and cultural partnerships, and stemming from directives of the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, aimed at establishing the university’s academic presence regionally and internationally, the Associate Dean of the College of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Muslim Reda Hassan, held a consultative meeting with the Iraqi Cultural Counselor in Tehran, Dr. Yasser Al-Hajjaj, to explore ways to develop academic cooperation with Iranian universities and build fruitful scientific partnerships.

The discussion centered on strategies for developing cooperation with leading Iranian universities, through establishing scientific partnerships aimed at exchanging academic expertise and advanced educational practices, in addition to designing joint multidisciplinary programs and organizing scientific and cultural events that enrich the academic landscape, alongside discussing mechanisms for activating agreements signed with Iranian universities and transforming them into tangible projects with mutual academic returns.

The meeting also addressed various scientific and intellectual issues related to academic cooperation with Iranian universities, where ways to unify research efforts in strategically priority fields and enhance scientific dialogue were explored, in addition to exploring possibilities for organizing cultural forums and specialized scientific seminars that contribute to deepening academic understanding bonds and strengthening the network of relations with Iranian educational institutions.

As a culmination of the positive results of this meeting, both parties reached a preliminary agreement on organizing an official visit for an academic delegation from the University of Telafer to the Islamic Republic of Iran, including holding intensive working sessions with partner universities and conducting exploratory visits to distinguished educational institutions, aimed at crystallizing long-term strategic partnerships and building sustainable academic cooperation bridges, embodying the University of Telafer’s ambitious vision in establishing its influential academic presence on regional and international stages.
