“University of Telafer Maintains Its Academic Presence in the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences”

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific collaboration and advance the educational system, Assistant Lecturer Mushtaq Abdullah Mohammed Taher, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Education, represented the University of Telafer in the second regular meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences in Iraqi universities. The meeting was held at the University of Anbar on Wednesday, April 29, 2025.

This meeting served as a pivotal step in the development of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences across Iraq. Attendees discussed several key topics, including the revision of academic curricula, expansion of postgraduate programs, activation of joint research initiatives, and the establishment of clear mechanisms to enhance academic twinning and integration between colleges.

The discussions also focused on strategies for improving the quality of education in accordance with national and international standards. Emphasis was placed on the adoption of modern curricula and advanced teaching methodologies that aim to produce graduates equipped with relevant skills and contemporary knowledge to meet labor market demands.

The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations and resolutions aimed at advancing academic progress in the field. The participants agreed on the importance of continuing to hold regular meetings at various universities, thereby strengthening institutional coordination and contributing to the goals of higher education in Iraq.

The University of Telafer reaffirms its commitment to playing an active role in the national academic landscape and its dedication to adopting progressive visions that contribute to academic excellence and align with modern scientific and intellectual transformations.
