*”Delegation from University of Telafer Participates in Specialized Workshop on Bologna Educational Process at University of Baghdad”*

Within the framework of its continuous efforts to develop its educational system according to international standards, the University of Telafer participated in the specialized scientific course on the Bologna educational process, organized by the Development and Human Resources Department of the Studies, Planning and Follow-up Directorate at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on Thursday morning, April 17, 2025, in Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad.

The University of Telafer was represented in this course by the Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Sinan Essam Al-Din, the Director of the Registration and Student Affairs Department at the university presidency, Assistant Lecturer Sajjad Abbas Younis, and the Head of the Registration Division at the College of Agriculture, Khalid Mohammed Hassan.

The course focused on strategies for enhancing educational transparency and strengthening the reputation of Iraqi academic institutions, with an emphasis on ways to bridge the gap between higher education outcomes and labor market requirements through designing innovative curricula that keep pace with scientific developments and meet the needs of various productive and service sectors.

The course also reviewed practical mechanisms for implementing the credit hour system adopted in the Bologna process, which aims to make the educational process more flexible and interactive, with a focus on teamwork and practical skills, positively reflecting on the student’s educational experience and enhancing their competitive capabilities in the labor market.

The University of Telafer’s participation in this specialized course reflects its commitment to keeping pace with global developments in the field of higher education and its keenness to adopt best academic practices that contribute to developing its educational programs and improving the quality of its outcomes.
