Under the patronage of the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, a constellation of university students participated in the central ceremony for Iraqi university graduates of the “Fifth Guided by Huda Al-Kamr organized by the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine on Friday, April 11, 2025, under the slogan “From Karbala’s Bounty Springs Giving.” The university delegation was headed by Mr. Ali Zaynal Khalaf, Head of the Media Division at the College of Basic Education.

The sacred shrine embraced this exceptional celebration, which gathered approximately five thousand male students representing 64 universities from various Iraqi governorates, in an integrated national tableau reflecting the cohesion of Iraqi university youth and their shared aspirations toward a future befitting the history of their ancient homeland.

The ceremony was distinguished by its diverse segments with spiritual and national dimensions, as the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine sought through this qualitative initiative to reformulate the concept of graduation ceremonies in line with the identity of Iraqi university students and their authentic values, granting graduates a unique experience crowning years of scientific effort and inaugurating their practical journey from the land of pride and sacrifice.

This pioneering initiative reflects the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine’s interest in encouraging education and scientific research, supporting youth energies and honoring distinguished students, and motivating them to actively contribute to the process of construction and sustainable development witnessed by Iraq.

On this blessed occasion, the University of Telafer extends abundant thanks and gratitude to the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine for this generous gesture, congratulating its male and female graduates on this distinguished culmination of their scientific journey, wishing them a bright future in various fields of work and production, and to be the best ambassadors for their university in serving their homeland and achieving the aspirations of their people.
