“Distinguished Faculty Members from the University of Telafer Awarded during the Iraqi Academic Day Celebration”
In a tribute that reflects appreciation for the scientific standing of academics and their vital role in strengthening the foundations of higher education, six faculty members from the University of Telafer, including the University President Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Ahmed Aziz, were awarded by the Iraqi Academic Syndicate during the central ceremony held on the occasion of Iraqi Academic Day. The event took place at Al-Noor University on Saturday, May 10, 2025, under official sponsorship and with broad academic attendance.

The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Muzahim Qasim Al-Khayyat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Higher Education, and Dr. Ali Maseer Yaseen, President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, along with presidents and deans of universities from the Nineveh Governorate and a number of distinguished academic figures.
