“‘Your Health is Our Priority’ Campaign Continues its Journey in University of Telafer Formations Amid Wide Participation from Personnel”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, and within the framework of the university’s strategy to enhance preventive health and provide comprehensive healthcare for its personnel, the “Your Health is Our Priority” campaign for free laboratory examinations was launched on Sunday, March 23, 2025, targeting administrative and teaching staff across various university formations.

This qualitative initiative embodies the pioneering approach adopted by the University President in making personnel health a top priority, where His Excellency directed the allocation of necessary resources, formation of a specialized medical committee, and provision of essential laboratory supplies and equipment, making this health project a model to be emulated in academic institutions.

The campaign began its first day at the university presidency building, where a large number of presidency and College of Education personnel participated to benefit from this qualitative health initiative, which is the first of its kind in academic institutions in the region.

The organizing medical committee continued its activity on the second day, moving to the Colleges of Agriculture and Basic Education, where it provided its laboratory services according to a precise scientific methodology, ensuring smooth procedures and ease of access for beneficiaries, while maintaining the highest quality standards in the sample collection and analysis process.

The campaign is scheduled to conclude its stations at the College of Nursing by the end of the current week, thus completing a comprehensive cycle covering all university formations, providing its personnel with a package of essential vital examinations including diabetes testing, comprehensive blood lipid analysis, kidney functions, and insulin resistance index.

This qualitative initiative embodies the University of Telafer’s approach to real investment in its human capital, and its commitment to establishing a culture of preventive medicine and early diagnosis, as a strategic approach to improving the quality of life of its personnel, enhancing their productivity, and ensuring the sustainability of their contribution to the educational and research process.
