“Telafer University Embodies Its Community Mission Through Caring for the Elderly”
Under the patronage and supervision of the President of Telafer University, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, the College of Nursing at Telafer University organized a community service visit to the Elderly Care Home in the city of Mosul. A team of faculty members and students conducted an inspection visit to review the conditions of the residents of the home.
The visit included providing essential healthcare services, along with offering moral and emotional support to our respected fathers and mothers residing at the facility, in a manner that reinforces the values of social solidarity and humanitarian responsibility. The medical team, with the participation of college students, also carried out a series of preliminary medical examinations for the elderly residents.
This initiative comes as part of the university’s activities aimed at serving the community and strengthening the role of academic institutions in supporting the most vulnerable groups, affirming its scientific and humanitarian mission.
