*”University of Telafer Launches Awareness Campaign to Combat Smoking and Enhance Health Awareness at the College of Nursing”*

In a step reflecting the University of Telafer’s commitment to its community role, the Department of Media and Government Communication, in cooperation with the Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Nursing, implemented a targeted awareness campaign to combat smoking and promote public health.

The campaign included the distribution of posters in the College of Nursing, explaining the health hazards resulting from smoking and its negative effects on individual and community health, with a focus on the importance of abandoning this harmful habit and encouraging the adoption of healthy lifestyles.

This initiative comes within a series of activities adopted by the University of Telafer to contribute to building an aware and healthy society, promoting a culture of health and reducing the spread of smoking among youth in particular and community members in general.
