*”Dean of Agriculture College at University of Telafer Attends International Conference on Information Technology and Sustainable Development”*
As part of the University of Telafer’s pursuit to keep pace with global scientific developments and enhance knowledge communication between academic institutions, Dr. Abdul Aziz Alwan Mustafa, Dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Telafer, attended the First International Conference “Innovation in Information Technology and Its Impact on Sustainable Development,” jointly sponsored by Al-Noor and Nineveh Universities on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
The conference, hosted in the halls of Al-Noor University, witnessed the qualitative attendance of prominent academic leaders, foremost among them Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Al-Noor University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak, President of Al-Hamdaniya University, as well as the assistants to the presidents of the two organizing universities and a number of college deans.
The opening session of the conference was distinguished by rich scientific addresses presented by the presidents of Nineveh and Al-Noor Universities, followed by two outstanding scientific presentations by the keynote speakers: Professor Dr. Amin Abboush from Australia and Professor Dr. Akram Mohammed Zaki from Malaysia, who reviewed the latest trends and applications in the field of information technology and their role in achieving sustainable development goals.
The attendance of the Dean of the College of Agriculture at this scientific forum reflects the University of Telafer’s commitment to exploring prospects for employing modern technology in developing the education and scientific research system, especially in fields related to the agricultural sector, contributing to enhancing the outcomes of the educational process and achieving the university’s vision of elevating its scientific and academic performance level.
