*”Faculty Member from University of Telafer Participates in ‘The Art of Etiquette and Protocol’ Course at the Tourism Authority”*

Within the context of integration between academic institutions and specialized service sectors, and within the University of Telafer’s strategy for developing the capabilities of its personnel, faculty member Zainab Talal Noori participated in the advanced training program “The Art of Etiquette and Protocol” organized by the Iraqi Tourism Authority during the period from April 20 to 24, 2025.

This program gained exceptional importance as it coincides with the Arab world’s celebration of Baghdad as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2025, attracting broad participation from representatives of various Iraqi ministries and institutions, in a national endeavor to qualify distinguished cadres capable of representing Iraq appropriately and providing tourism services at a level befitting the depth of Iraqi cultural and civilizational identity.

The training program was supervised by Dr. Ruqayya Ali Al-Wakeel, Director of the Tourism Training and Development Department at the Authority, who presented an integrated vision combining theoretical aspects and advanced practical applications of etiquette and protocol arts, highlighting their importance in elevating the tourism services system, their positive reflections on quality of life, and the role of the qualified human element in creating a distinguished service experience that aligns with the requirements of the third wave – the service wave.

The participation of the University of Telafer in this qualitative program reflects its commitment to active contribution in national initiatives and its keenness to develop its cadres according to the latest professional standards, positively reflecting on enhancing Iraq’s civilizational image and contributing to the success of Baghdad’s journey as the capital of Arab tourism.
