*”Member of Parliament Mukhtar Al-Musawi Visits University of Telafer and Discusses Reconstruction Projects”*

Within the framework of continuous communication with the legislative institution, the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, received in his office on Thursday morning, April 24, 2025, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Musawi, member of the Iraqi Parliament, and Hajj Ali Mohammed Salih Al Alloush, Commander of Al-Hussein Brigade 53 of the Popular Mobilization Forces, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and the university’s developmental needs.

The meeting extensively addressed the university’s future strategic projects, focusing on initiatives funded by the Reconstruction Fund for Liberated Areas in Nineveh Governorate, particularly the three projects allocated to the University of Telafer, which represent a fundamental pillar in the plan to develop academic infrastructure in the district.

The University President presented a detailed overview of the implementation stages of these projects, the challenges they face, and the plans developed to overcome them, emphasizing the pivotal role of legislative support in accelerating the pace of academic development in liberated areas.

For his part, MP Mukhtar Al-Musawi expressed his appreciation for the efforts made to develop the educational institution in Telafer District, pledging to adopt the university’s demands in parliamentary corridors and work to overcome obstacles hindering the implementation of its vital projects.

This visit reflects the growing interest in supporting the higher education sector in liberated areas and embodies the University of Telafer’s vision in activating partnerships with various national institutions to achieve its developmental and educational goals.
