As part of efforts to strengthen ties between academic and religious institutions, Professor Dr. Huda Ismail Al-Jumaili, Vice President of the University of Telafer for Administrative Affairs, welcomed in her office at the university campus a high-level delegation from the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, headed by Mr. Taha Al-Dibaj.
The meeting witnessed in-depth discussions on strategies for developing the complementary relationship between the two sides, and exploring innovative mechanisms for cooperation in intellectual and cultural fields, in a manner that enhances authentic Islamic values and consolidates national identity in the souls of university youth.
The discussion addressed practical proposals for establishing joint knowledge platforms such as specialized symposiums and interactive workshops that address contemporary intellectual issues, in addition to discussing ways to exchange scientific publications and cultural prints, and coordinate efforts in the areas of community awareness and intellectual development.
During the meeting, the professor emphasized the University of Telafer’s vision in activating partnerships with institutions of civilizational and cultural dimension, stressing the importance of combining academic and religious efforts in intellectually fortifying youth, and building a balanced personality that combines authenticity and contemporaneity.
