Within the framework of the University of Telafer’s efforts to develop the administrative and financial competencies of its staff, and under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized course titled “How to Organize Disbursement Documents Under a Unified Accounting System” directed at new employees in the department.
The course lectures were presented by the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, Assistant Lecturer Nazir Mustafa Ahmed, who reviewed the theoretical and practical frameworks for organizing financial documents according to the unified accounting system adopted in Iraqi state institutions.
The course addressed in detail the legal and technical foundations for preparing and documenting financial records, and the regulatory controls that must be adhered to in disbursement operations, with a focus on documentary audit mechanisms and ways to avoid common errors in financial practices.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs to building highly qualified cadres in the financial field and enabling them with modern accounting work tools, ensuring smooth financial operations and enhancing the principles of transparency and accuracy in the university’s financial performance.
