*”Ministerial Committee Visits University of Telafer to Assess Computing Center’s Readiness for National Examinations”*

Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, President of the University of Telafer, received a ministerial committee on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The committee is tasked with overseeing and monitoring centers designated for national examinations (English, Arabic, and Computer skills) for postgraduate applicants within Iraq. The meeting was attended by the Director of the University’s Computing Center and several departmental officials.

This visit was part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s ongoing efforts to monitor examination centers’ readiness and ensure compliance with established technical and administrative standards. The committee conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of the university’s Computing Center, reviewing examination halls, available technical equipment, and implemented security and monitoring systems.

The committee commended the center’s exceptional level of preparedness and qualification, confirming that it meets all specifications and requirements set by the Ministry. This includes advanced infrastructure, the number and types of available computers, as well as camera surveillance systems and appropriate spacing between workstations to ensure procedural integrity and examination delivery with the highest levels of security and transparency.

This visit underscores the University of Telafer’s ongoing commitment to providing an exemplary and advanced examination environment that aligns with Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research directives. It contributes to ensuring national examinations are conducted according to best practices and recognized international standards, reflecting the university’s dedication to serving and advancing Iraq’s educational system.
