“Research Team from the University of Telafer Publishes Two Distinguished Scientific Papers in a Scopus-Indexed International Journal”

In a remarkable scientific achievement that adds to the research portfolio of the University of Telafer, a research team from the university successfully published two scholarly papers in Neutrosophic Sets and Systems, an international journal affiliated with the University of New Mexico, and indexed in the global Scopus database. The work was accomplished in collaboration with both local and international researchers.

The research team included Professor Dr. Huda Ismail Khalid, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Ibrahim Bahjat Ibrahim, Assistant Lecturer Nadhir Mustafa Ahmed, and Engineer Ahmed Khudhur Issa—reflecting the spirit of interdisciplinary cooperation and joint effort within the university.

The first paper, titled
“Neutrosophic CRITIC MCDM for Prosthesis Rehabilitation, its Applications and Technologies,”
highlights the critical role of prosthetic rehabilitation in supporting amputees’ return to normal life by enhancing mobility, utility, and comfort. The study explores how prosthetic design in virtual reality production depends on client requirements and various factors such as comfort, usability, and functionality. It presents an advanced multi-criteria decision-making technique based on neutrosophic logic.

The second paper, titled
“A Natural Language Processing Environment for Rule Based Decision Making with Neutrosophic Logic to Manage Uncertainty and Ambiguity,”
focuses on developing a natural language processing (NLP) environment for rule-based decision-making using neutrosophic logic to handle uncertainty and ambiguity. The research investigates how neutrosophic logic enhances the accuracy and reliability of NLP systems by evaluating their performance in tasks involving subjective, incomplete, and linguistically complex information.

This scientific accomplishment is a testament to the University of Telafer’s ongoing efforts to solidify its position on the international research map. It reflects the university’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest scientific and technological advancements across various fields of knowledge, thereby contributing to community development and the advancement of human understanding on a broader scale.
