“Continuing Education Center at University of Telafer Explores Cooperation Prospects with Northern Cement Directorate”

Within the framework of implementing the directives of the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, aimed at establishing community partnerships and developing cooperation ties with various institutions and government departments, a delegation from the Continuing Education Center at the university conducted a field visit to the Northern Cement Directorate on Thursday, July 23, 2025. The visiting delegation was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Zidan Younis, Director of the Center, accompanied by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Idris Kanaan, Head of the E-Learning Division.

The visit focused on exploring available opportunities for mutual cooperation in the fields of qualification and professional development, in addition to studying the working environment within the directorate and identifying its training and development needs. It also sought to identify aspects of strategic partnership and institutional integration that could contribute to raising the level of professional performance and enhancing human capabilities in line with local market requirements and contemporary technical developments.

This initiative comes within the strategic vision of the University of Telafer to expand its community role and deepen interaction with various productive and service sectors. Through these exploratory visits, the university seeks to build a wide network of partnerships that enable the university to provide advanced and specialized training programs that meet the actual needs of institutions and contribute to developing and qualifying the workforce to face modern work challenges and contribute to driving economic and social development in the region.
