“University of Telafer Enhances Community Communication Through Official Visit to Sinjar District to Follow Up on Higher Education Issues”

Within the framework of the University of Telafer’s commitment to strengthening communication links with the local community and working to serve citizens in various areas within its operational scope, implementing directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under direct follow-up from the University President, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, the Director of the Follow-up Department at the university, Mr. Ahmed Hamza Khalil, conducted an official visit to Sinjar District to assess citizens’ needs in higher education and confirm the continuity of services provided to them.

The Director of the Follow-up Department at the university met during the visit with several administrative officials in the district, where he confirmed the readiness of the university’s representation in the district to receive and follow up on all citizens’ requests related to higher education affairs and work on submitting and following them up with decision-making centers at the ministry, ensuring the facilitation of procedures and providing services at the highest levels of efficiency and speed.

This initiative comes within the university’s continuous efforts to develop the service system provided to the community and enhance its role as a leading educational institution that transcends the boundaries of the university campus to reach various areas of the governorate. The university presidency seeks to establish the concept of a community university that meets citizens’ needs and contributes to solving their problems related to higher education, enhancing mutual trust and achieving integration between the university and society in serving sustainable development goals.
