“Comprehensive Awareness Campaign in Dormitories at University of Telafer to Combat Drug Epidemic”<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an initiative reflecting the University of Telafer’s commitment to its social responsibility towards its students, the Media and Government Communication Department, in cooperation with the Dormitories Affairs Department, organized a comprehensive awareness campaign to combat the drug epidemic, targeting dormitory students.<\/p>\n

The campaign, supervised by the Director of the Dormitories Affairs Department, Assistant Lecturer Hussein Shiyat Ahmed, included the distribution of awareness posters and brochures in various dormitory facilities, containing accurate scientific information about types of drugs and their destructive effects on psychological and physical health, methods of prevention, and warning signs indicating their use.<\/p>\n

The campaign organizers were keen on direct communication with students, providing comprehensive explanations about the content of awareness materials, and answering their inquiries, while emphasizing the importance of the university student’s role in combating this dangerous epidemic through reporting any suspicious activity.<\/p>\n

This qualitative initiative falls within the University of Telafer’s comprehensive strategy to provide a safe and stimulating educational environment, and enhance the university’s responsibility in building a balanced student personality armed with awareness and knowledge, and fortified with positive values against all forms of deviation and addiction, enabling them to effectively contribute to building a healthy society.<\/p>\n
