In a step embodying institutional integration between academic and security systems, the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, conducted an official visit to the headquarters of the West Nineveh Security Directorate on Monday, April 7, 2025, where he was received by Colonel Muzahim Khaleef Al-Nimer, Director of the Directorate.<\/p>\n

The meeting witnessed extensive discussions on developing strategic partnership mechanisms between the two sides, focusing on crystallizing an integrated vision to fortify the university environment against various negative phenomena, and unifying efforts in combating contemporary social ills such as drugs, intellectual extremism, and cyber extortion.<\/p>\n

The dialogue also addressed ways to employ the university’s research and scientific capabilities in service of the security field, and developing joint research projects that address contemporary security challenges with a scientific methodology, in addition to organizing specialized awareness programs that contribute to raising the level of security awareness among university youth.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the visit, the University President presented the University of Telafer shield to the Director of West Nineveh Security Directorate, in appreciation of the distinguished efforts made by the Directorate in establishing the foundations of security and stability in the region, affirming the university’s readiness to engage in any joint initiatives serving community security and stability, based on its belief that security and knowledge are two fundamental pillars in building and developing societies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
