“Dean of College of Nursing at University of Telafer Chairs Master’s Thesis Defense on Surgical Safety”<\/p>\n

The Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Telafer, Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Hassan Zaynal, chaired the committee for discussing a master’s thesis at the College of Nursing at the University of Mosul on Sunday, July 13, 2025, where the study addressed the effectiveness of educational programs in enhancing nurses’ competency in implementing surgical safety regulations.<\/p>\n

The thesis addressed a vital topic in the nursing field aimed at evaluating the impact of educational programs on developing nurses’ skills and competency in implementing surgical safety checklists, which are considered fundamental tools in reducing medical errors and improving the quality of healthcare in operating rooms, contributing to achieving sustainable development goals related to quality education and healthcare.<\/p>\n

The defense witnessed qualitative scientific interaction, including in-depth discussions and valuable academic guidance that enriched the thesis content and deepened its research value. The committee concluded at the end of the discussion that the student deserved the Master’s degree in Nursing Sciences conditional upon implementing the suggested improvements, reflecting the distinguished scientific level of the research and the efforts made in its preparation.<\/p>\n
