“University of Telafer Launches Awareness Campaign on Misinformation Risks and Negative Impacts of Artificial Intelligence”<\/p>\n

As part of the University of Telafer’s ongoing commitment to promoting awareness and scientific literacy among its students, and in fulfillment of its academic and social responsibility to prepare an enlightened and educated generation capable of thoughtfully navigating contemporary technological developments, the Department of Media and Government Communication, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department, organized an awareness campaign on Sunday, June 22, 2025.<\/p>\n

This educational initiative involved distributing informational posters highlighting two critically important topics in our modern era: the dangers of misinformation and its destructive impact on society, as well as the potential negative consequences of artificial intelligence when not used properly and responsibly.<\/p>\n

The campaign aims to enhance student awareness about the importance of fact-checking information before sharing it and developing their ability to distinguish between reliable information and misleading rumors. It also seeks to educate them about the optimal use of artificial intelligence technologies to serve their academic and professional goals while avoiding potential risks.<\/p>\n

This initiative is part of a series of awareness activities organized by the university to prepare students capable of critical thinking and responsible engagement with contemporary challenges, emphasizing its leadership role in building an informed and educated society that meets the demands of our time.<\/p>\n
