Under the patronage of the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, and within the framework of the university’s continuous efforts to keep pace with technological development and implement the ministry’s strategy in digital transformation, the Electronic Computing Center at the university organized a specialized training workshop titled “Developing Competencies of Human Resources Staff in All University Formations,” on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
The workshop was presented by the Director of the Electronic Computing Center, Dr. Omar Sami Taha, and the Head of the Technical Training Division, Dr. Maher Khalaf Hussein, addressing important axes in the field of administration and planning, and how to use the electronic human resources system (HR) to accomplish the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in entering personnel information.
The workshop also reviewed techniques for using modern electronic systems in human resources management, and mechanisms for employing technology to improve the administrative work environment, focusing on the practical aspects of the digital transformation process and optimal utilization of the electronic system in documenting and analyzing functional data.
This initiative comes within the strategic plan of the University of Telafer to enhance the capabilities of its administrative staff and raise the level of job performance, by keeping pace with the ministry’s directions in the field of automation and digital transformation, positively reflecting on the quality and efficiency of institutional work.
