“The Dean of the College of Nursing at University of Telafer Participates in the Committee Meeting of Nursing College Deans in Iraq”

Within the framework of institutional coordination between Iraqi nursing colleges and unifying strategic visions for developing the health sector, the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Telafer, Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Hassan Zaynal, participated in the periodic meeting of the Committee of Nursing College Deans in Iraq, hosted by the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the University of Duhok.

The meeting was attended by deans of nursing colleges from various Iraqi universities, where participants discussed ways to develop nursing education in Iraq and proposed mechanisms to elevate academic outcomes in line with international standards.

The agenda also included examining important issues facing the nursing sector in Iraq, mechanisms for enhancing college infrastructure, and methods for advancing scientific research in this field, contributing to the development of health services and improving their quality.

The participation of the Dean of the College of Nursing in this meeting comes within the framework of the university’s commitment to keeping pace with developments in nursing sciences and exchanging expertise with counterpart academic institutions, positively reflecting on the quality of educational outcomes and enhancing the university’s position in the national academic landscape.
