In pursuit of academic excellence and ensuring the quality of higher education, and in alignment with the university’s vision to enhance its educational outcomes, the President of the University of Telafer, Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmed Aziz, chaired an extended meeting on the university campus. The meeting included college deans, their associates, department directors, and division heads to discuss preparations for the new academic year.

 

The University President opened the meeting with a welcome address, emphasizing the importance of early planning and thorough preparation to ensure the commencement of the academic year befits the scientific status of the University of Telafer. He stressed the necessity of consolidating all efforts to overcome obstacles and create an appropriate environment for students and faculty.

 

During the meeting, participants discussed several crucial axes, including the completion of logistical and administrative requirements, preparation of classrooms and scientific laboratories, development of academic schedules in accordance with approved educational plans, advancement of scientific research, and enhancement of cooperation with prestigious academic institutions.

 

The meeting also addressed mechanisms for developing administrative and academic performance, and means of improving student services. Emphasis was placed on the importance of adopting modern educational technologies, enhancing electronic communication between various university sectors, and developing e-learning platforms to keep pace with technological advancement in higher education.

 

His Excellency concluded the meeting by expressing gratitude to the attendees for their efforts, calling upon them to continue working with team spirit to achieve the desired objectives and elevate the university’s scientific and academic standards. He affirmed that the university administration would provide all necessary support to ensure the success of the new academic year and achieve the desired institutional excellence.
